cleverTV Ltd, the international designer, developer and licensor of fantasy sports games for print, broadcast and online media partners, today announces an upbeat trading statement.
Andrew Deeks, Managing Director commented today:
"2008 has seen cleverTV achieve a dominant position in the provision of fantasy games to the UK media industry.
"In addition to Trinity Mirror renewing their contract for another two seasons for all fantasy games including the flagship football game, You The Manager, we won several significant new pieces of business.
"In the first quarter of 2008, we secured the fantasy games business for Telegraph Media Group and have so far delivered 12 games, with many more in the pipeline. Taking over an established and successful franchise was a real challenge but we are justly proud of the quality and breadth of the offerings produced. We have implemented a raft of new features and more will debut for the 2009 season.
"We were also very pleased to win fantasy football game contracts with The Guardian, the Daily Mail and the Abu Dhabi Media Company. The Guardian required a bespoke solution and cleverTV were instrumental in shaping the strategy to create "the thinking man's fantasy football game". Our strategy has paid off and entry numbers are nearly double the anticipated level. The game for the Daily Mail has seen over 100,000 managers participate and our solution for ADMC is the company's first foray into the Gulf region."
"The outlook for 2009 is equally promising with a series of major new media partner deals and international joint venture agreements currently in negotiation."
